Summing up the weekend

So the first weekend as a long distance couple, I went to LC to visit him. He's staying with a friend's parents (Thank God) so that took some stress off of him. He's been working 16 hour days & my boos is exhausted, which is why I'm so glad they made him take off Sunday.

I got to LC around 5:30 Friday and went to Meg's to wait on B.
Sidenote: Thank GOD for Megan. She's helped me out tremendously throughout this. Not only as a friend to hang out with when B's working, but emotionally, too. She knows when I cry & when I'm upset & her & Carter always cheer me up. Thanks, Meg.

B got off and came home and gave me THE BIGGEST hug. I wish I could have frozen that moment in time & stayed there forever. He missed me, too.

He brought me across the street to where he's staying (I know, small world, right?) & I met THE NICEST couple ever. Mr. Jim & Mrs. Sue are kind & Godly & opened up their home to B and I. I cannot than them enough. Here's B in his temporary room and his friend Kevin's childhood room with Raggedy Andy:

Overall, we had a great anniversary weekend. I LOVED eating at The Embers. If you're in LC (and rich) you should check it out sometime! I really enjoyed the time I spent with my hunny, that's for sure. I definitely understand what everyone means when they kept telling me that absence makes the heart grow fonder. My heart is WAY fonder.
